Thank you very much Nick,

I have been dealing with a school who wants me to come on a tourist visa and they say that all will be fine.I was told by the Sydney Turkish Consulate officer that I cannot legally work with a tourist visa and that I can ONLY obtain a work visa from my home country pursuant to the Turkish Ministry of Education rules and regulations. My school will not discuss this and I have decided that they are dodgy and I will only look for a school which will assist me getting a work visa in Australia.
   Keep me posted,
                    Many thanks Tony.
